It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! Between the festively decorated homes, neighbors singing Christmas Carols and the holiday music taking over all of the radio stations, it’s hard to not feel the magic of the holiday season! This is the time to give back to the less fortunate and really appreciate the life that you have and your loved ones that are a part of it as you sip on candy cane flavored beverages and strategically hang mistletoe!

Since I was a little girl, the Holiday Season has always been my favorite time of year! Though I came from humble beginnings, I remember the pure happiness and excitement that I felt every Christmas morning when I’d rush to the tree to see what Santa had brought me, desperately hoping that I wouldn’t find a pile of coal! While I vaguely recall there being fewer presents under the tree some years, those are not the memories that I’ve carried with me. Instead, I remember the delicious smell of my Mom’s homemade stuffing filling the house every year and the joy I felt decorating the Christmas tree every year as a family. While times may be tough, holiday happiness, like all happiness, is not measured in presents received, but in genuine smiles and warm memories with those you love.

Use the holiday season to spend time with loved ones and show them how much they mean to you! Take the time to write them a nice card expressing your gratitude for the role they play in your life or take a trip to your local city to admire the festive store windows and decorations! What better way to show someone how much you appreciate the happiness that they bring to your life than by paying that happiness forward to those who are less fortunate? There are so many great things you can do this holiday season for those that you love without breaking the bank!

Everyone has different ways of celebrating and different traditions when it comes to the holidays. Some hang stockings for Santa, some light a Menorah and some celebrate different holidays altogether! What is important for all of us during this holiday season is that we come together to give back to the less fortunate and appreciate the lives we have. Whether you’re donating an old jacket, buying a gift for a less fortunate child to open on Christmas morning or simply donating your time to a pet shelter or food bank, it’s so important that we help make the holiday season magical for as many people as we’re able!

If I could offer up one piece of advice to everyone during this holiday season it would be to really live in the moment. This is the season of giving and gratitude. Take this time to soak up your beautiful surroundings and live in the moment with your family and loved ones. We’re so blessed to be living our lives and there’s no better time than the holiday season to appreciate what you have in your life. I am so appreciative for the love and support of my loved ones, family, friends and fans. You are all AMAZING and I feel truly blessed to have each and every one of you in my life. I wish you nothing but the best of everything this holiday season and always! XO
