French Sophistication, Meets Skinny Denim!

Happy 4th of July weekend! Summer fashion is in full swing ! I am so excited summer has come around again, it's one of my favorite fashionable seasons of the year! I'm an actress with a great love of fashion! Explore YOUR own creative personal style today!

Fashion has always been a passion of mine. Ever since I was younger, I would scout vintage shops to find unique pieces that would make a statement. Throughout all the endless hours I spent shopping, I learned that you don’t have to spend a fortune on your wardrobe; you can look fabulous on a budget!

My all time favorite stores are those's little hidden gems that you find in your towns and city! I'm a New Yorker so I'm very fortunate to have some amazing stores right here in the east and west village in Manhattan. I have found the best tucked away gems while I'm away on location working for a movie. Nowadays we have the convenience of many affordable stores right in our neighborhoods! The stores that I love where I’ve found amazing fashionable and designer pieces are Marshall's, TJMax, Burlington Coat Factory and DSW. These are just a couple of places that carry designer, yes DESIGNER, fashions at a discounted price! You would never expect to find these normally expensive items at a steal, but you can! That’s why I suggest starting your shopping day at these discounted stores so you won’t end up spending a lot on something that you can get for a great price in  other stores I recommend are Century 21, Zara and Forever 21!

It’s so important when deciding whether or not to buy an item to see if you can get the most bang for your buck. If you find a gorgeous dress, but can only wear it to a formal event that you go to twice a year, obviously you wouldn’t get much use out of it. Finding versatile pieces that you can pair with many different styles of clothes is important when shopping on a budget! You want to look and feel like a rock star every day, not just on occasion!

I am really digging this French elegant bodice top, and pairing it with a simple pair of blue high waist jeans really makes it more functional for a city girl like me. Nude color pair of pointy heels and a cute bag and I'm really to take of any day or night.

What I love about a bodice is the fact that you can pull your waist in really tight with those strings at the back Your waist will be the tiniest for your own body size, and I have to tell you there is nothing nicer than feel every thin holding you in for the night. lol no effort! No holding in tummy etc, it's half the battle! I always say having one pair of jeans that fit you right is all you ever need, right? In fact if you find the perfect pair try to buy two pairs just in case they stop selling them... Yes this did happen to be before and it's fun! Finish your look with a killer pair of shoes! And of course some Jewels if needed.

I like to test myself and be a little daring, but that’s what fashion is all about! If you like something and it’s your style, rock it! Remember there is only one of you, your unique!! so wear it with all your confidence. Have fun with your fashion. It is such a great form of self-expression!

Tips for Curvy Girls

Rock your Curves! Choose a form fitting, High waist jeans so the waist band hits your right on your skinniest point of your waist. if you are feeling sexy why not show a little belly button!

Just love a bodice top on a curvy figure because you have the hips and the boobs that really make the waist look tight and right.

Nothing like a hot pair of high heels to elongate your legs and pull the hole outfit together!

Tips for Athletic Girls

We are not working with as much curves so it's important to show off what we do have etc, so if it's little hips show them off.. Or if it's nice boobs don't be afraid it wear low cut tops to show off your famine assets! There are always ways to keep it tasteful

Athletic girls, pull those strings nice and tight you bodice should fit you tight! Your goal is to show of your widest points so having a super tight bodice is important.

Jeans  - you have the pick - of the little high waist, low waist what ever you wish! I'd stick with skinny jeans though for this French city girl look, it's just more classy!

This French classy bodice was bought in a lingerie store in Connecticut.
