Where do I even start!? I have recently returned home from an absolutely incredible trip to Los Angeles, filled with several unexpected yet unforgettable successes and experiences. There’s no better feeling than getting your creative juices flowing; being able to harness your inner light and truly create a unique piece of magic, especially in a fresh setting!
The rush of Hollywood is so inspiring for an Artist, and it truly is the place where anything can happen behind the bright lights. The classics, the modern, the heart, spirit and soul of the entertainment industry have left their mark on this exhilarating city, and you’d be surprised at the amount of new opportunity you can create when you remain focused, driven and dedicated. After spending time with a fellow Actress and dear friend, Arielle Brachfeld, I was encouraged and inspired to write a screenplay of my own; a dramatic, telling story of two seemingly contrasting sisters, whose lives unfold before their eyes. I loved having the ability to build such powerful characters from the ground up, not to mention a dimensional plot twist! Through these endeavors, I had the privilege of meeting so many beautiful, influential artists, producers and writers in filmmaking. It really was such an amazing trip!
As you know, my team and I are always busy creating opportunity, as I’m a true believer that success is about trying, and always being bold and daring enough to capture your dreams. Before leaving for LA, I had auditioned for several roles, and while on the West Coast, I was delighted to receive multiple callbacks and offerings! I have just met with leading producers in Manhattan and can hardly contain my excitement with some huge news I will be sharing shortly! It truly is an unbelievable feeling to see your passion and hard work unravel before your eyes, as I move into the next stage of my acting career.
When I reflect on these new opportunities, I am deeply reminded of the power of hard work, and how nothing incredible in life ever comes easy. Success is a journey, not an event, and it is so critical to push yourself everyday through new thresholds, both personally and in your art to be a better, stronger and more focused individual than you were yesterday. It is no easy feat, but I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that consistency and drive truly are the secrets to success while pursuing your passions.
There’s no denying that this industry is a roller coaster, but I do believe that the most wonderful things in life are often unexpected, and I am so blessed for all of the upcoming opportunity in front of me, both planned and new!
