I have been waiting so many years to be able to say that I landed my first acting gig, and now I finally can! Acting has always been such a dream of mine and I am so thankful that I finally got this amazing opportunity. Of course this opportunity came after a ton of hard work, but I am so thrilled that my hard work paid off!
The movie is an independent horror film called “Caesar and Otto’s Paranormal Halloween” and I will be playing Kyla, the resident chef in the Mayor’s mansion. Without giving too much information away, my character is a “femme fatale.” A “femme fatale” is typically an attractive and seductive woman who ultimately brings disaster to men who become involved with her. It is a very dynamic role that I am so excited to start preparing for!
If you’ve kept up with my previous blogs then you know that I have been hard at work in really learning as much about the art of acting as I possibly can. There is still so much for me to learn and I am so thankful to be able to add this experience to my learning progression. I have been working tirelessly to improve my skills and it is so gratifying to know that my hard work has made such an impact on a director!
I really do encourage all of you to chase your dreams like I am doing. I am proof that hard work pays off and I believe that with the right work ethic and determination anyone can achieve their biggest dreams. Nothing comes easily, but when you see that your hard work brings you to your ultimate goal, there is no better feeling in the world!
Of course my hard work won’t stop now that I have landed my first role, it’s only just begun! I thank you all for coming along on this journey with me and I can’t wait to share this experience with you!
