Incase you haven’t noticed the abundance of chocolate, flowers, love quotes, stuffed animals and heart-shaped-everything that has been flooding store windows and convenience stores since the day after New Years, Valentine’s Day is upon us! This is the holiday that celebrates love, which is truly one of the most incredible forces in the universe! Love can just show up out of nowhere and leave you speechless, breathless and powerless. It is that strong!

If you watched the Super Bowl this past Sunday then chances are you saw the Budweiser commercial about the “lost puppy.” If you’re anything like me, you probably balled your eyes out the whole time too! As you may have seen on my website or other Social Media pages, I have a four-pound shih tzu named BaileyLee who is my baby. From the moment I laid my eyes on him, he was a part of my heart and I know that he will be a part of me forever.

I have come to learn and believe that one of the best qualities one can have is the ability to have patience. Once I am able to accept that there are things in life that are simply outside of my control, I find that I am able to be more at peace in knowing that the universe has a bigger plan for me than I had originally had for myself. Have patience and faith in the fact that things will work out as they’re destined to!
