Giving Thanks

Fall is finally in the air! The smell of warm apple pies, the crisp sounds of fallen leaves and the taste of my favorite pumpkin lattes! LOL I can’t get enough!

As an Irish girl in America, I’ve learned that the beauty of fall isn’t just the gorgeous natural surroundings, but what this time of year represents for families. I am so privileged to experience Thanksgiving, and not only for the delicious turkey, cranberry and stuffing, but because of what this day in its simplest form means, “Giving thanks.”

Nearly two weeks ago now, the world was shocked with the devastating Isis attacks in Paris. My heart aches for the beautiful city and it’s beloved people. The city of love, of wonder, of bliss has faced so much hate and destruction and I honestly still can’t wrap my mind around why any one person or organization would want to cause such immeasurable pain.

The Yellow Brick Road to A Successful Acting Career (HAHA!)

Being a working actress is no easy feat. Unfortunately, there is no yellow brick road to take and no “Good Witches” with magic wands to tell you exactly what to do. In that regard, navigating your acting career is a lot like navigating through your life in general! We can plan and plan and think that our lives will be going in one direction, but at the drop of a hat a new opportunity can present itself and everything can change! I’ve learned that the best thing I can do as an actress is find my own feet and own and enjoy my journey!
