Giving Thanks

Fall is finally in the air! The smell of warm apple pies, the crisp sounds of fallen leaves and the taste of my favorite pumpkin lattes! LOL I can’t get enough!

As an Irish girl in America, I’ve learned that the beauty of fall isn’t just the gorgeous natural surroundings, but what this time of year represents for families. I am so privileged to experience Thanksgiving, and not only for the delicious turkey, cranberry and stuffing, but because of what this day in its simplest form means, “Giving thanks.”

As you know, I’m a very spiritual person, and truly believe in the value of self-reflection. I’ve worked so hard to turn my dreams into a reality, and I wouldn’t have made it this far in my journey without my incredible support system. “Giving thanks” and showing your appreciation is so crucial for strong professional and personal relationships. I am so blessed with irreplaceable friendships, a caring, thoughtful family and, of course, my devoted team at JLA that help me turn my dreams into action. I don’t know where I would be without them!

I can wholeheartedly say that America is deserving of its title as “The land of opportunity” and I am so thankful for all that this beautiful country has offered me. I am so touched and honored by the support of my fans, and can’t thank them enough for believing in me and my passion. I am so thankful for the amazingly talented directors, writers, producers and fellow actors I have worked with along the way and I look forward to all of our future opportunities.

Though us Irish don’t celebrate Thanksgiving back at home, we cherish the same values that this day represents; love, friendship, faith, appreciation, good health and good eating!

From our table to yours, try this delicious traditional Irish treat this Thanksgiving: Classic “Brown Bread.” Made without yeast and a hearty helping of nuts and seeds, this tasty, healthy side will surely not disappoint on Thursday!

Happy Thanksgiving, from our family to yours!
