Bloomin' to Skirts

Spring has sprung and the time has come to take out your skirts and blossom!

I absolutely love the Spring because this is the perfect time of year to express yourself through fun fashions! Colors, prints, skirts and a smile is all you need to create a perfect Spring look!

With the long and cold winter behind us, now is the time for a fresh start! All things bloom in Spring! This can apply to many things in life such as flowers, a new wardrobe or even a new lease on life. Seasons are like fashion, it’s constantly changing! So let’s see how to blossom this Spring!

There are ‘must-haves’ that every woman should have in their wardrobe, especially when creating a cute Spring look. These are the essentials, such as a white or black t-shirt and tank top, a made-for-you pair of jeans, and a go-to skirt for when you want to look sexy and sophisticated. That’s really all it takes to look fabulous like we all want! You don’t need to spend a lot to look like a million bucks! All you need are a few basic and cute items and you are all set for Spring!

I absolutely loved my look for this photo-shoot! Not only was this outfit cute and sophisticated, but it was also extremely comfortable! And the best part about this outfit is that everyone, no matter what body-type, can create this look so easily!

Tips for Curvy Girls

Hemlines are important! If you are choosing pants for your Spring look, stray away from Capri pants, pleated khakis and long baggy shorts

Choose skirts that are flattering for your figure; knee-length pencil skirts and A-line skirts are universally flattering silhouettes

Rock a pair of high heels! 2 ½ inches and above lifts the body and helps clothes fall better on your body which gives a slimmer appearance. Shoes with pointed toes and thin heels flatter you best!

Tips for Athletic Girls

The right cut is very important! You want to create curves where you want them or to add a balanced weight to the entire look

Try skirts that are round from the waist down. Asymmetrical, tube or pencil skirts that taper at the knee can help add curves to the hip area

Mini skirts like bubble skirt, flare skirts and A-line skirts are a good option as well. Be sure that your skirt fits well and is not oversized for your figure!
