Don’t get me wrong, I know us girls wouldn’t turn away a new pair of heels in our stockings, LOL, but as we rush through crowded malls, it’s important to slow down and realize what the Holiday season is truly all about.

Why do we fall in love with films or certain books? Why do we cry to song lyrics, or get chills up our spines when viewing a classic piece of artwork? There’s an unspoken power behind artistic expression, and even as a method actress myself, I recently found my heart, mind and soul completely moved from the production, acting and screen-write behind the film Brooklyn.

Everyone has their list of all-time favorite Holiday classics. “Love Actually,” “Elf,” “When Harry Met Sally,” the collection of heartwarming Holiday hits set in this time of year are endless. One film that always touches my heart is the romantic comedy, “Serendipity,” starring Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack. It’s a tale of fate, wonder and the power of love that will surely melt your heart this winter. You have to see it, trust me!
